KEYBOARD SHORTCUTS

Here we have some handy keyboard shortcuts that we often use to help speed up our daily tasks, these are handy to know especially when your mouse decides to stop working

Internet  
Ctrl + TOpens a new tab (you can also use the middle mouse button)
Alt + f4Closes the window
Ctrl + DBookmark – Adds website to your favourites
Ctrl + FOpens a Search box to find a word on a page
Ctrl + HOpens your browsers “History”
Documents 
Ctrl + ASelects All
Ctrl + CCopies file or text
Ctrl + XCuts the highlighted text
Ctrl + Z Undo
Ctrl + Y Redo
Ctrl + VPastes the cut or copied text
Ctrl + BChanges highlighted text to Bold or normal
Ctrl + IChanges highlighted text to Italics or normal

drive letter + colon (e:)switches to that drive
cd\takes you to the drives root directory
dirgives you a list of the drives contents
winget upgradegives you a list of available updates
winget upgrade –allupdates all apps
diskpartopens the disk partitioning tool
DISKPART (Partition) Commands 
diskpart>
list diskgives you a list of drives on your pc
select disk (then disk no)selects the disk you want to work on
detail diskgives you the information for that drive
cleanremoves all partitions from the drive
create partition primarycreates a new primary partition
